Paul in Ephesians 6:10-18 gives a vivid description of the warfare armor provided to the believer. In Weapons for Victory the author gives a vibrant description of how, by employing this arsenal she was equipped to gain access to Satan's camp, retrieve her stuff that was stolen, and walk away in victory. The book takes the reader into the world of the writer as she uses the tools of God's Word to prepare for deployment, face it head on, and emerge a winner every time. The reader is given a panoramic view of a storm, which though at times grew boisterous, was the avenue God used to bring change and wholeness for the author and her family. She takes us into her colossal journey in an effort to bring healing and wholeness to the masses also being massacred by Satan and his demonic forces. The author culminates this passion filled saga by giving her readers a chapter study of the spiritual armor, which if employed will render them victors on their own journey. This book when read, should bring those who read to a place of solace realizing God is the winner on every terrain.

The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 10:4 that, "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of this world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds." The Christian is given automatic weapons, that when relinquished, are able to destroy everything in their path and lead the believer to ultimate victory. This book, by using Paul's description of the believer's fight and weaponry in Ephesians 6:10-18, will take the reader into the author's own journey, and reveal how God showed up as the covering needed on every terrain.

In 2013 when I wrote Weapons for Victory: Memoirs of a Perfect Storm, the book that inspired this book; I had no idea what would transpire beyond those crucial years. All I knew was that the journey would continue and God would always be with me, no matter where I went. Realizing that I wrote the original book from a place of pain, I revised it in 2022, from a place of victory, which would transition to what my readers will receive now. Every time I have been asked to give a testimony or talk about my life, it has been difficult to put it into a short version. Therefore, these pages are being written as a love letter, to those who will read and gain strength from the reading, both now and in years to come.

Marshal Foch, the Generalissimo of the Allied Armies during the last stages of the First World War, commenting on the victories won during the Hundred Days when the Germans were driven back on the Western Front, said ‘Never at any time in history has the British army achieved greater results in attack than in this unbroken offensive’. The scale, speed and success of this offensive have provided historians with fertile ground for interpretation and debate. How did the British Expeditionary Force, having endured the bitter disappointments and heavy losses at Aubers Ridge, Loos, the Somme, Passchendaele, Cambrai and during the German spring offensives of 1918 turn the tide of the war and comprehensively defeat the enemy in the field? This is the fascinating question that Michael Senior tackles in this lucid and thought-provoking study. He considers the reasons for the stunning British victories and examines the factors that underpinned the eventual success of the BEF. In particular he shows how tactical and technical developments evolved during the course of the war and merged in a way that gave the British a decisive advantage during the final months of the fighting. Innovations in guns and gunnery, in shells, aircraft and tanks, and a massive increase in industrial output, played key parts, as did the continuous process of adaptation, experimentation and invention that went on throughout the war years. The result was an army that could take advantage of the unprecedented opportunity presented by the failure of the German spring offensive of 1918. Michael Senior provides a challenging and controversial analysis of the underlying reasons for the success of the BEF. It is essential reading for anyone who is keen to learn about the extraordinary development of the British army throughout the war – and to understand why, and how, the Germans were beaten.
