If there is a God and He loves us like the Bible tells us, then why can’t we see, hear and touch him? Since we cannot see Him, does this mean that He wants to be distant or capricious, or wants to make things difficult for us? Of course, if we could see Him, then everyone would believe fully in God and probably be on their way to heaven. There would be no need whatsoever for faith, and probably no need for a Savior. Who would sin standing in the visible presence of God? Adam and Eve did choose to sin, but God was not visibly with them at the time, and they also had not yet realized the full consequences of sin. In this book we will explore what God designed and intended for humankind, and what caused Him to become invisible, and why. My hope is that for many this will give a better understanding of God, His unfailing love for us, and why things are the way they are. I pray it also brings some comfort in life’s often difficult journey that requires such an exercise of faith. We will do this by looking at the words of God, himself. In my life I have heard many teachings about the temptation and fall of man, and many times studied the scriptures concerning Eden. One day a few years ago God revealed to me something new and profound I had never noticed. There is no doubt the living Word and the Holy Spirit are famous for that, but this one blew me away. God will very soon reveal Himself to all whether we like it or not. Millions of Christians and Bible scholars worldwide agree that that all the necessary prophecies have been fulfilled and the signs of the return of Christ are undeniably upon us. But until the day Christ returns for His Church, let us see if God gave us any clues as to why we can’t see Him, and explore the origin and necessity of faith.

Modern scientific discoveries often challenge biblical teachings and the long-held beliefs of many Christians. To Adam about Adam is a serious yet lighthearted autobiography of the author, who has known Jesus since his childhood but drifted for many years while on his quest for science. Only while searching for answers to his son's question about Creation did the author find his way back to the Word of God. Through his journey, the author was able to bring his passion for science and love for God together into a more holistic understanding of God's plan for mankind. In a very personal way, he uses an open, bantering approach throughout the book to establish a friendly relationship with the reader. This personal relationship is used to guide the reader through a number of biblical stories to show how God acted as both a loving and caring Father and as a scientist in teaching mankind lessons related to overcoming sin. To Adam about Adam may improve the reader's understanding of God's plan for mankind and show how science is instrumental to that plan. For example, the author details how the fall of Adam and Eve was an important and preconceived part of God's plan, not merely perfection gone awry. Science can explain the basis for the sin we see in the world today, whereas the Bible describes the only cure. Thus, the Bible and science are both integral to the fulfillment of God's plan.

"Nineteenth-century Latter-day Saints looked forward to apocalyptic events that would unseat corrupt governments across the globe but would particularly decimate the tyrannical government of the United States. Mormons turned to prophecies of divine deliverance by way of plagues, natural disasters, foreign invasions, American Indian raids, slave uprisings, or civil war unleashed on American cities and American people ... Blythe examines apocalypticism across the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints particularly as it would take shape in localized and personalized forms in the writings and visions of ordinary Latter-day Saints outside of the Church's leadership"--

I've tried to be the perfect person God expects me to be, but I just can't, I give up." "I know God loves me, but it seems like He never answers my prayers." "I do everything the Bible says I should, so why hasn't God blessed me like He promised?" "Is God schizophrenic? The Bible is full of nothing but contradictions." Questions and comments like these compelled Andrew Wommack to introduce the profoundly simple concepts found in this book. Often, human perspective and the mechanics of Christianity eclipse The True Nature of God - the God who wants nothing more than to share an intimate friendship with His children. If you're wondering who God is or if He cares, let Andrew show you The True Nature of God.
