Most books on Spiritual Warfare focus on the power of our enemy or on specific strategies in carrying out warfare against this enemy. In contrast, this volume looks at what one who aspires to become a spiritual warrior must do to equip him or herself for battle. The Apostle Paul stated that the task of those who are called upon by God, and equipped by Holy Spirit as Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists and Shepherding-Teachers, is to equip God's people for works of service that build up the body of the Messiah (the Church) until we all arrive at the unity implied by having faith in, and knowing, the Son of God, thereby developing the standard of the Messiah's maturity and perfection (Ephesians 4:11-13).
