Excerpt from The Health Bulletin, 1921, Vol. 36 In conclusion, the important point to be remembered, in this connection, is that a diminished oxygen supply does not serve as a plausible explanation for the evil effects of ventilation, for the reason that in rooms where ventila tion is known to be poorest the per centage of oxygen is never found to be under 20 per cent, and, other condi tions being favorable, we know that the percentage of oxygen may be very much reduced without injurious effects.
