Love will always triumph over Evil The world is ruled by a handful of Super Rich. These, in their short-sighted management of the planet, are leading Humanity to its own self-destruction. The problem is that the same destructive dynamics, typical of the egoic mind that dominate the Universal Masters, also dwell in us common mortals, so on a smaller scale we are all co-responsible for the current situation. Do we want to continue on this path, remaining in our 'old ego', and thus become passive accomplices of Humanity's self-destruction? Or do we want to be protagonists of the global Awakening of Consciousness, to head towards a New Promised Land, save ourselves from the nuclear holocaust, and build the Earthly Paradise? But how to ”Be the change we want to see realised in the world?” Meditation and daily good deeds, are direct routes to Happiness and World Peace. When we are in meditation and we reach the state of enlightenment, then we feel a force within us that is not of this world, an unlimited trust thanks to which we fear nothing, not even a possible atomic holocaust, and we perceive something that cannot be described in words, a sense of well-being, Peace and unconditional Love, and all this turns into a universal force capable of uniting all the consciousnesses that populate the Infinite Universe. If we perceive this Love within us, we already become immortal, as we are destined to fly away to the stars, should self-destructive collective unconsciousness prevail on this planet. In the final analysis we can affirm: Love always triumphs, even in the case of self-destruction, if it does not win here it will win elsewhere, in fact as Giordano Bruno said, there are Infinite peopled worlds, in which Peace reigns forever and ever. The call to make the world a better place is inherent in the Christian belief and practice. But why have efforts to change the world by Christians so often failed or gone tragically awry? And how might Christians in the 21st century live in ways that have integrity with their traditions and are more truly transformative? In To Change the World, James Davison Hunter offers persuasive--and provocative--answers to these questions. Hunter begins with a penetrating appraisal of the most popular models of world-changing among Christians today, highlighting the ways they are inherently flawed and therefore incapable of generating the change to which they aspire. Because change implies power, all Christian eventually embrace strategies of political engagement. Hunter offers a trenchant critique of the political theologies of the Christian Right and Left and the Neo-Anabaptists, taking on many respected leaders, from Charles Colson to Jim Wallis and Stanley Hauerwas. Hunter argues that all too often these political theologies worsen the very problems they are designed to solve. What is really needed is a different paradigm of Christian engagement with the world, one that Hunter calls "faithful presence"--an ideal of Christian practice that is not only individual but institutional; a model that plays out not only in all relationships but in our work and all spheres of social life. He offers real-life examples, large and small, of what can be accomplished through the practice of "faithful presence." Such practices will be more fruitful, Hunter argues, more exemplary, and more deeply transfiguring than any more overtly ambitious attempts can ever be. Written with keen insight, deep faith, and profound historical grasp, To Change the World will forever change the way Christians view and talk about their role in the modern world.

We are the bad guys. The evil is already in you How many times do we promise ourselves not to make the same mistakes again, not to react abruptly, but then at the first opportunity we reproduce the same deleterious behaviour again, which harms the relationship with those around us and the people we interact with every day? How many times in our daily lives do we behave irrationally, getting angry, and frightened in objectively uncompromising situations? How many times do we let our emotional memory, i.e. our past, make us react to the situation of the moment when clearly the circumstance of now has nothing to do with what happened to us a long time ago? We probably all experience these dilemmas, which is why inner work on oneself is fundamental, so that we are truly free to choose according to our real needs of the moment, and stop being victims at the mercy of the 'conditioning chain' formed by the thoughts-past-emotions complex. Making the right choices, without them being dictated solely by reason or conditioned solely by completely unconscious and automatic emotional impulses, is an important part of our journey of awakening. It is difficult to change oneself, one's own debilitating emotional reactions, one's own negativity, and one's own unconscious conflictuality, which constitute the 'bad' side within each of us. Consciously changing oneself is one of the most difficult tasks, yet it is an indispensable stage in our personal transformation; it is an arduous task, but we must not be discouraged by the difficulty of the manoeuvre; on the contrary, it is precisely the difficulties that make us grow. This is why changing ourselves is vital to transforming the world, and true revolution can only start with a profound inner change. We must recognise that in us we have both good and evil, it is up to us to choose which path to take and which side of the coin to pursue. We can decide, in every moment of our lives, whether to be on the right side to uplift ourselves and society, or to give in to our baser instincts, turning our lives and consequently the very world we live in into a perpetual earthly hell. The choice is ours. It is already within us. Translator: Alessandra Cervetti PUBLISHER: TEKTIME

CONSCIOUSNESS OR SUPERCONSCIOUSNESS THIS IS THE DILEMMA The present society continues to run like a mad elephant, toward global catastrophe. Why do we continue on this road that leads us to a dead end, with end view our own self-destruction? The answer to this question lies in human consciousness itself, the cause of every problem, while Superconsciousness is the solution to every difficulty. What is the difference between consciousness and Superconsciousness? Superconsciousness consciously connects us with everything that exists, and to understand it better we can make the analogy of a network: everything in existence is like a node that can have the illusion of being separate from the rest of the network. Most people are like that, they feel like a node separated from the rest, like a single individual separated from the rest of Humanity. This feeling of separation is the mode in which consciousness operates. CONSCIOUSNESS OR SUPERCOSCIENCE THAT IS THE DILEMMA The present society continues to run like a mad elephant, toward global catastrophe. Most people are like this, feeling like a knot separated from the rest, like a single individual separated from the rest of Humanity. This feeling of separation is the mode in which consciousness operates. So it is ”normal” for a world dominated by consciousness to be in perpetual conflict, consciousness can only do so much by being a principle of division and separation. And as long as it is the same that decides both our personal and Humanity's fate, we will always be at risk of self-destruction. We can even say, ”The very nature of consciousness, directed toward separation and competition, can only inevitably lead us into conflict with others.” It is the very nature of ordinary consciousness that leads us to violence and war! Superconsciousness knows that it is both the node and the global network itself at the same time, so it knows that it is deeply connected and interconnected to the Whole, while consciousness thinks it is a node unto itself, separate from the rest of the network. Superconsciousness thus opens us to a wider reality than that of ordinary consciousness, and we get a taste of it in moments of deep Inner Peace, when the silent mind allows us to enjoy to the fullest the spectacle of the present moment. Why is consciousness on the world's bridge of command and Superconsciousness all but ignored? Superconsciousness is something unpredictable and original capable of subverting the established order. The emergence on this planet, of a minimum sufficient number of awakening Superconsciousnesses, is the greatest nightmare for the system and for the Anti-Awakening Dark Powers that rule the world. This is the problem, the ruling elites do not want Superconsciousness awakening because it would put an end to their millennial earthly Power. Only by electing Superconsciousness, as the Supreme Commander of human life, will it be possible to change human destiny and put the extraordinary scientific progress implemented by consciousness no longer at the service of consciousness itself in command, which we might rather describe as ”unconsciousness ruling the world,” but to put technological progress at the service of Superconsciousness, the only one capable of fostering development that is healthy, sensible, and truly aimed at the welfare of H Translator: Nikkita PUBLISHER: TEKTIME

The perfect gift! A specially priced, beautifully designed hardcover edition of The Joy of the Gospel with a foreword by Robert Barron and an afterword by James Martin, SJ. “The joy of the gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus… In this Exhortation I wish to encourage the Christian faithful to embark upon a new chapter of evangelization marked by this joy, while pointing out new paths for the Church’s journey in years to come.” – Pope Francis This special edition of Pope Francis's popular message of hope explores themes that are important for believers in the 21st century. Examining the many obstacles to faith and what can be done to overcome those hurdles, he emphasizes the importance of service to God and all his creation. Advocating for “the homeless, the addicted, refugees, indigenous peoples, the elderly who are increasingly isolated and abandoned,” the Holy Father shows us how to respond to poverty and current economic challenges that affect us locally and globally. Ultimately, Pope Francis demonstrates how to develop a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ, “to recognize the traces of God’s Spirit in events great and small.” Profound in its insight, yet warm and accessible in its tone, The Joy of the Gospel is a call to action to live a life motivated by divine love and, in turn, to experience heaven on earth. Includes a foreword by Robert Barron, author of Catholicism: A Journey to the Heart of the Faith and James Martin, SJ, author of Jesus: A Pilgrimage

How churches can work to stem gun violence Over 300 Episcopalians came together in Oklahoma City in April 2014 to renew their commitment to the Gospel call to make peace in a world of violence. Through deep conversation, prayer, and skill building the event empowered the Episcopal Church to address violence and reclaim its role in society as workers for nonviolence and peace. This book is one of the outcomes of that event - resources to help dioceses, congregations, and individuals reclaim the Gospel message of peace for our society. Divided into four sections - Proclaim: The Gospel, Sustain: The Witness, Reclaim: The Response and Our Prayers - topics are offered in the areas of advocacy, education, liturgy, and pastoral care that our Church can use to address the culture of violence within and outside of the Church, the reader will hear the Gospel proclaimed through personal stories of witness from key leaders in the Church today, including Justin Welby, Katharine Jefferts Schori, Bishop Ed Konieczny, Eugene Sutton, Mark Beckwith, Kay Collier McLaughlin, James Michael Dowd, Matthew Ellis, and others. Topics include: systemic/root cause of violence, suicide/mental health, hate crimes, gang violence, race and violence, advocacy, gun violence, bullying, gender-based violence, and non-violence. Reflection questions follow each chapter with a comprehensive study guide for group use included.

The gospel is often presented as little more than a "get out of hell free" pass. But is that all there is to it? What made it so compelling that the Apostle Paul would give up everything, enduring hardships and deprivation to preach good news? David deSilva argues that some Christians have unintentionally reduced the gospel to a message Paul would hardly recognize. The "gift of righteousness" is far richer than many of us have dared to imagine! In Transformation: The Heart of Paul's Gospel, deSilva examines the gospel message as presented in Paul's letters. He demonstrates that Paul had nothing less than in mind than the means to transform and renew all of creation--including ourselves. Prepare to let Paul's message of change and renewal transform your own thinking.

Drawing on a lifetime of pastoral experience, The Care of Souls is a beautifully written treasury of proven wisdom which pastors will find themselves turning to again and again. Harold Senkbeil helps remind pastors of the essential calling of the ministry: preaching and living out the Word of God while orienting others in the same direction. And he offers practical and fruitful adviceâ€"born out of his five decades as a pastorâ€"that will benefit both new pastors and those with years in the pulpit. In a time when many churches have lost sight of the real purpose of the church, The Care of Souls invites a new generation of pastors to form the godly habits and practical wisdom needed to minister to the hearts and souls of those committed to their care.
