Here also peach plum and cherry-trees had been attacked. At Makanda, Jackson county, several plum-trees were found very full of holes, some of them completely riddled and apparently practically killed. Peach-trees here were also badly affected, but none of the injury was found in wild fruits of any kind, nor yet in nursery stock.
