This little book has been written in order to meet this desire, and should be read as a supplement to Religion and Medicine. The first part, by Dr. Worcester, appeared as an article in The Century M aga zine for July, 1909. It is here reprinted with the exception of a few sentences as it was orig inally published. The second part, by Dr. Mccomb, appeared in the pages of The Hib bert Journal for October, 1909. It is now is sued in a revised and expanded form.
