Deng Xiaoping is by his own merit and by what is known in Chinese popular culture as the ''Divine Mandate'' or natural might, the Father of Modern and Economically Developed China. Although not an official title, the term Supreme Leader is applied to the Maximum Leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and of the Government of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and is ultimately an informal term to refer to the most prominent political leader in China in each era.
