This Festschrift is offered to W.A.M. Beuken on the occasion of his sixty-fifth birthday and his retirement as Professor of Old Testament Studies at the Faculty of Theology of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Wim Beuken has dedicated much of his scholarly career to the study of one Old Testament book, the Book of Isaiah.
