I have em phatically denied the truth Of Kepler's law Of equal areas and the whole Newtonian system as to one planet having, by posi tive force, such as gravity, the power to accelerate or retard the motion Of any planet. Being the only individual Of record who has traced the spiral paths Of planets round the moving sun, find that spiral paths cannot be correctly traced, under any law, round the sun, when acceleration on the orbit is made an element. But such paths coincide with the uniform velocity Of the planet on its orbit, and are self evident facts, from the sun's motion in Space, the orbits being cross or diagonal sec tions Of the spiral paths.
