In other words, 87 per cent of the seed represented by the samples was sold according to the law as regards purity and 8-1 per cent as regards germination. These percentages are higher than last year, when they stood at 82 and 66 respectively. Of the total 90 samples which were guaranteed for purity, 85 of them, or 94 per cent, were found to be up to or above the guarantee.
