An important step in such studies involves the introduction of numerous values of atmospheric-moisture content in the several layers of each model. The layer thicknesses and water vapor contents which must be treated for adequate model tests are so many that preparation of tabular listing of the required data has been found necessary. The tables presented herein, prepared by the Hydrometeorological Section, have proven their worth in meeting the qualifications for most of the storm-model testings, and are published to obviate laborious computations on the part of other workers in the hydrometeorologic and related fields.
