The O, the Depth of the Riches is all about leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ and going on unto perfection (Hebrews 6:1). The Hebrew writer instructs us that as soon as we are saved, we should start trying to find out more about our Savior. This is not about the perfection of the flesh but growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. The articles in this book are to facilitate that growing or edifying the saints of God to know more about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As the apostle Paul said, "That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God" (1 Corinthians 2:5). How do we stand in the "power of God"? By following the leadership of the Holy Spirit to stand for the truth of God! God wants to be behind our growth and understanding. Paul said to us, "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints" (Ephesians 1:17-18). The local assembly that we call a church has become very weak, especially in terms of the spirituality of the saints in those churches. I have seen that with my own eyes and heard with my own ears. Therefore, the blessed Lord God has led me to study and write and share with my brothers and sisters in Christ. The edification of the saints of God is very important to the salvation of the lost. Paul said, "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ." So what we learn from the scripture by the Holy Spirit is crucial for God's people. The Holy Spirit has laid on my heart to strengthen the local church by publishing this book for the spared of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

If You Love God's Word You Will Love This New Testament! The Disciples' Literal New Testament sets you free from our artificial 460 year old chapter and verse structure, replacing it with paragraphing that reflects the flow of thought in the original Greek writings. Paragraph headings make that flow of thought explicit to you, speeding your understanding of the NT books. This translation retains the writing style of the apostles themselves, rather than transforming their Greek ways of writing into an elegant or contemporary English writing style, as has been beautifully done so many times. It is the same translation as the author's New Testament TransLine, first published by Zondervan in 2002. Now you can read the New Testament as the original writers intended it, and see it with a clarity formerly available only to those who could carefully study their Greek New Testament. You can even see the difference in writing style between Matthew, Mark and Luke! Used along with your standard Bible version, you will profit from both methods of translation. *Easily grasp the relationship of the whole and the parts of each book with the big-picture overview outlines that use the words of the original author. *Gain quick insight into the flow of thought from descriptive paragraph headings that summarize the main point of each paragraph in its context. *You can visually follow the apostles' thinking because the 'Intelligent Paragraphing' visually displays their main and subordinate thoughts. *The hindrance to your understanding caused by our artificial chapter and verse structure is eliminated by paragraphing based on the Greek writings. *You will more fully appreciate the minds and thinking patterns and intent of the original writers because the translation corresponds more closely to their words and their grammar and their sentence structure. *Deepen and expand your understanding of the New Testament by meditating on the notes containing alternative renderings, explanations of what is being said, and different views of the meaning.

In these sermons we see that the truths expressed by the Apostle Paul are not only a fitting conclusion to Romans 9-11, and indeed to the preceding chapters as well, but are also an interpretative key to the past and the future. They explain the history of Israel in the Old Testament and that of the Jews and the church in the New, while also anticipating the future of the Jewish people in the Christian church. The Doctor's exposition evaluates other views of the chapter's significance on an exegetical and theological basis. It casts a much-needed light on secular history and encourages believers to look forward to the 'fulness of the Gentiles' and the salvation of 'all Israel', which will be like 'life from the dead.'. What did Paul mean when he referred in His epistle to the Ephesians to the unsearchable riches of Christ? And what did he had in mind when he used the term "riches"? In the end, whatever these unsearchable riches might mean, who benefits from them and how can a Christian have them? If you would take up this book and start reading it, you would be surprised seeing that the author started his wonderful analysis on this topic by speaking of... humbleness! He picks up humbleness as the starting point in his exposition on Ephesians 3:8 because that was the apostle's attitude of heart when he started to write on the subject of the riches of Christ! Then he shows how this is the peculiar character of the souls upon whom Christ bestows His spiritual riches. Brooks then opens the Fountain "of the greatest riches, the best riches, the choicest riches" - namely the Person and work of Jesus Christ. "In Him we find overflowing the riches of justification, the riches of sanctification, the riches of consolation, and the riches of glorification.." This book has been originally published in 1655. Current edition has been proofread, typeset for eBook readers, and slightly updated for modern readers. About the author: Thomas Brooks (1608-1680) was an English nonconformist Puritan preacher and author. He wrote extensively and with a keen eye on devotional Christian life. Brooks died after over 40 years of Gospel ministry, in 1680.
