Hello, my friends, I hope you all are safe and sound. As we all know the pandemic effect is now about to finish. We all are back to our professional life with full of passion and energy. Currently, I have been working in the M/S Castomach Global Pvt. Ltd. located in Chakan, Pune. I am working as an R & D manager. Castomach is a manufacturer of finished PDC parts for reputed automotive and non-automotive companies such as LUCAS- TVS, Valeo, Varroc, Atomberg etc. My native place is Kevanale in Raigad district Maharashtra. I have worked in medium-scale companies as a Quality Manager, Production Head, Development head, maintenance dept, etc. I have been working in the industry for 25+ years. As an engineer, we face every day different challenges. In simple words, we have to give an exam every day and we have to win it with distinction marks. The interesting thing is that we get different kinds of questions while working in the industry which we have to solve with our expertise and knowledge. Many times, certain technical/quality issues may seem to be difficult to tackle. Working in this industry for 25+ years’ experience I can say “nothing is impossible.” I also felt at a certain point, that I should share my technical knowledge and expertise with all our Technocrat friends, because “knowledge sharing is knowledge gaining”. This book will also help to understand college students of Mechanical Engineering as well as to our Technocrat friends about pressure die casting and its related process and details about various metals and technical content about the PDC. I would like to express my gratitude towards our honourable directors Mr.Tushar Bafna, Mr.Anup Saklecha, Mr.Balu Jogdand sir. Without their support, it was difficult for me to write my experience on paper. I would also like to mention the name of our Plant Head Mr.Omkar Gangdhar and all the technical teams working in the Castomach. Their support is very much commendable. I would like to honour Mr.Nityanand Choudhari sir Technical Director from Alcast Foundry Pvt. Ltd. I would also like to honour Mr. Ashwin Shah sir and Mr. Ajit sir from Matchwell die-casters where I worked under them for many years. This book will help you to know the details about the PDC process, raw material details, technical details, machine details etc. Lastly, I hope the book will enrich the knowledge of die casting in all my technocrat friends as well as it will guide the Mechanical Engineering students from all the universities. I am waiting to hear feedback from all my friends. Thank you. Suresh Sonawane.

The primary aim of this book is to shed light on the vital role of technical and vocational courses in schools and their potential to lead to apprenticeships and ultimately secure better job opportunities for youth. The modern world is rapidly evolving, with technology advancing at an unprecedented pace. As a result, the job market is becoming increasingly competitive, demanding diverse skills and expertise. Our education system must adapt to these changes and equip students with the knowledge and skills to thrive professionally. Technical and vocational courses have often been undervalued or overlooked in favour of traditional academic pathways. However, they are the cornerstone of a well-rounded and adaptable education system. These courses provide students with practical skills and instill a strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and a keen understanding of industry-specific demands. My book will explore the significance of technical and vocational education, offering a comprehensive overview of the benefits it can provide. The book discusses how courses can lead to apprenticeships, an invaluable bridge between education and the job market. Apprenticeships allow students to gain hands-on experience, develop their skills, and establish a solid foundation for a promising career. The book serves as a guide and source of inspiration for youth, students, and parents, encouraging them to consider the many opportunities available through technical and vocational education. By focusing on these courses, we can empower our youth to make informed decisions about their future and embark on a path to secure better job prospects and a brighter tomorrow.

90 fly patterns that will work east and west plus details on insects and the patterns developed to imitate themPhotos by Bonnie and RenÃ(c) Harrop, Toshi Karita, Rich Paini, Masa KatsumataOriginal artwork by RenÃ(c) Harrop"In a lifetime nearing seven decades, I have devoted the vast majority of my time probing the mysteries of legendary waters like the Yellowstone, Firehole, Madison, Snake, and the Henry's Fork. Numerous lesser known rivers and lakes have cooled my legs but not my enthusiasm as I roam this region with a constant spirit of anticipation and discovery. In a single lifetime, it would be impossible to fish all the water in and near the park, and a close relationship with even a handful is a significant accomplishment." --RenÃ(c) Harrop, Learning from the WaterRenÃ(c) Harrop records lessons learned from years fishing the world's toughest trout water. His home water, the Henry's Fork, is one of the most challenging spring creeks in the world, and over his lifetime fishing the Henry's Fork, he has developed legendary techniques and flies to meet the challenge. In Learning from the Water, RenÃ(c) shares his wisdom on the importance of insect stages, the flies for a successful fly box, and how to plan and prepare for a trip to unfamiliar water. Chapters on midges, caddis, Flavs, Callibaetis, Tricos, PMDs, hoppers, beetles, aquatic wasps, and Baetis give solid inside information on each of these important insects as well as the patterns RenÃ(c) uses to imitate them, patterns that inspire fly tiers the world over.
