Muhura an evil man because of his anger on god decided to expand his empire in the whole of the universe. He started doing atrocities in the world taking the help of bad angels. But the great psychiatrist Sahamooti and parapsychologist Vamsi demolished the palace in which Muhura and his gang were stationed and made them powerless and helter-skelter for a long time. This is the story of the book ‘Amaswitha’ written prior to this book and connected to this book. But this book ‘Sasikala’ can be read and enjoyed without reading the book ‘Amaswitha’ But it has been made clear that Muhura, Ahina and the bad angels would only be scattered, incapacitated for some time but they would not be destroyed completely by demolishing the evil palace which was constructed by Sasinadh at the instance of Muhura for him and his bad angels. It has been further made clear, that Muhura and his gang sooner or later could gather together, get their powers back, strike on their betrayers and the world again. After six months of the demolition of the evil palace, odd and horrifying incidents started to happen again. Aravind’s daughter ‘Sarita’ and psychiatrist Rose’s daughter ‘Emily’ started behaving odd and it has been thought as ‘split-personality’ for sometime. But as psychiatrists Charles and Niranjan’s wives were also behaving oddly, they have to consider the whole of their four behavior in a different angle. Vamsi’s inability to contact Amaswitha anymore along with other odd and fearsome incidents also put them in anxiety. When Sahamooti proposed to make an experiment with the help of Aravind to invite Amaswitha, Aravind agreed to the same. The séance proposed by Sahamooti to invite Amaswitha and talk with her after the failure of the experiment with Aravind, was agreed by each and everyone. How the séance has been conducted, how Vamsi, Sahamooti and Aravind solved the problem of Muhura and his gang forever is the story of this novel ‘Sasikala.’

Poetry is a joyful art form, but how do you teach students to joyfully read, analyze, and write poems? In Text Structures from Poetry, Grades 4-12, award-winning educator Gretchen Bernabei teams up with noted poet Laura Van Prooyen to light the path. Centered around 50 classroom-proven lesson and poem pairs, the mentor texts represent a broad range of voices in contemporary poetry and the canon. These unique and engaging lessons show educators how to "pop the hood" on a poem to discover what makes it work, using text structures to unlock the engine of a poem. This method enables educators to engage students in reading and re-reading a poem closely, to identify how the parts of the poem relate to each other to create movement, and to leverage what they have learned to write their own evocative poems. Each of the 50 lessons includes a mentor poem that serves as an excellent model for young writers, a diagram that illustrates the text structure of the poem, and several inspiring examples of student poems written to emulate the mentor poem. Easy-to-use instructional resources enhance instructor and student understanding and include: Teaching notes for unlocking the text structure of a poem and the engine that makes it work. Tips for exploring rhyme scheme, meter, and fixed forms. Instructional sequences that vary the ways students can read and write poems and other prose forms. Ideas for revising and publishing student poems. A "Meet the Contemporary Authors" section that includes fascinating messages from the contemporary poets. Teach your students to learn about poetry using the magic of poems themselves and lead the way to a rewarding love of poetry for teachers and students alike.

Earth Matters on Stage: Ecology and Environment in American Theater tells the story of how American theater has shaped popular understandings of the environment throughout the twentieth century as it argues for theater’s potential power in the age of climate change. Using cultural and environmental history, seven chapters interrogate key moments in American theater and American environmentalism over the course of the twentieth century in the United States. It focuses, in particular, on how drama has represented environmental injustice and how inequality has become part of the American environmental landscape. As the first book-length ecocritical study of American theater, Earth Matters examines both familiar dramas and lesser-known grassroots plays in an effort to show that theater can be a powerful force for social change from frontier drama of the late nineteenth century to the eco-theater movement. This book argues that theater has always and already been part of the history of environmental ideas and action in the United States. Earth Matters also maps the rise of an ecocritical thought and eco-theater practice – what the author calls ecodramaturgy – showing how theater has informed environmental perceptions and policies. Through key plays and productions, it identifies strategies for artists who want their work to contribute to cultural transformation in the face of climate change.

Moving to America turns H&à's life inside out. For all the 10 years of her life, H&à has only known Saigon: the thrills of its markets, the joy of its traditions, the warmth of her friends close by, and the beauty of her very own papaya tree. But now the Vietnam War has reached her home. H&à and her family are forced to flee as Saigon falls, and they board a ship headed toward hope. In America, H&à discovers the foreign world of Alabama: the coldness of its strangers, the dullness of its food, the strange shape of its landscape, and the strength of her very own family. This is the moving story of one girl's year of change, dreams, grief, and healing as she journeys from one country to another, one life to the next.
