Excerpt from Mineral Resources of Canada Bulletin, 1904 Among other species lepidolite or lithia mica is occasionally found, generally in small quantities, and has as yet been neglected. With the phlogopites, portions which are usually known as cloudy or milky mica occur, but this apparently is of little commercial value. Deposits of muscovite are found at widely separated points. They are usually confined to dykes of a whitish pegmatite granite which cut the ordinary gneisses of the Laurentian.
