Beloved master, visionary, poet, and revealer of profound spiritual treasures, His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche was a paramount figure in the history of twentieth-century Tibet. He worked closely with H.H. the Fourteenth Dalai Lama to reinvigorate Tibetan culture and spiritual practice following the loss of their homeland. Chögyam Trungpa was born in Tibet and strictly trained in the manner traditional for re-incarnations of great teachers. At the age of 19, he led 300 people over the Himalayas to India in a dramatic escape recounted in his autobiography Born in Tibet.
