DOWNLOAD EBOOK →Antelope Island, the largest of Great Salt Lake’s eight major islands, is about 15 miles (24 km) long and up to 5 miles (8 km) wide, and covers approximately 40 square miles (104 km2). Frary Peak, the island’s highest point, is 6,597feet (2,010 m) above sea level and about 2,400 feet (730 m) above the lake’s historical average level. Although the island is perhaps best known for its wildlife and relatively pristine condition, the island is also fascinating from a geological standpoint.
