If I should put down in plain English a plain answer to the question, Should I go traveling?, it would be that any one who desires may do so, but whether an individual ought to go is quite another matter; each must answer for himself. I sought in this narrative to show how very simple it is to go traveling. With a little rowboat, a little something to eat, a few odds and ends of supplies -waterproof cloth, hatchet, matches, etc.- one has the materials necessary to make a long and interesting journey.
