The most powerful force on Earth is the English language! Forty percent of men dont read books--this according to a Penguin Book Survey in New York City that has one of he highest literacy rate in the nation. I cant imagine how few men read in other parts of the country. Did you know that women are more attracted to men who read books? Women instinctively know that men who read are more educated and are better providers. You only have 60 or so productive years. After that you wont be worth much even if your brain is still intact. If you live to age 90 you have 80 times 365 days = 29,200 days so dont waste it. How many days have you wasted so far? Dont you think it is time to pick up a book and read it? I know you have been traumatized, held hostage and brainwashed for twelve to fourteen years by the government mandated compulsory school systems. America is the only place in the world that throws parents in jail if they dont enroll their children in public school.) Its understandable that after graduating high school you probably never want to read another book in your life. However if you want to earn a living for your family and have a better life you are going to have to educate yourself and reading is the only way! The most powerful force on Earth is the English Language. Learn it and be successful.

"Depressing." "Ungodly." "Skippable." Each of these words have been used to describe Ecclesiastes. Catching the Wind: A Guide for Interpreting Ecclesiastes provides an interpretive companion for pastors, Bible study teachers and leaders, and Bible readers who are tired of skipping Ecclesiastes because either it is too hard to understand or its content appears too contrary to fit into preconceived notions of what and how God reveals Himself in His Word. The message of Ecclesiastes, often lost to readers and interpreters in the puzzling, enigmatic details of the book, becomes readily accessible when Ecclesiastes is considered in the whole. Catching the Wind utilizes the structure of a modern social research report to reveal the divine intent of Ecclesiastes, the divine truth that true meaning in human life comes in covenant relationship with the sovereign God and through no other means. The guide provides instruction for developing a biblical hermeneutic, an interpretation of the text of Ecclesiastes, examples of personal application, and abundant study questions for further investigation.

A guide to finding the fulfillment God intended for you: “This is a book that can change your life.” —Bo Mitchell, Chaplain, Colorado Rockies, author of Grace Behind Bars The Solomon Syndrome helps us understand the futile ways in which men and women seek to have a happy life pursuing the culture’s ideas of how to be successful. The first part of the book serves as a tool to assess how one seeks to have their needs met—often in ways that never work. Solomon becomes a model of how all the pathways the contemporary world encourages us to pursue only get us onto the “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and leave us with a sense of meaninglessness. It then lays out a paradigm of how God designed a network of relationships to meet one’s deepest needs and make life meaningful and happy. The second part of The Solomon Syndrome takes each of the relationships discussed within and provides a tool for adjustment and enhancement of each area. Rather than being a book about marriage, or family, or serving, or a relationship with God, it shows how all relationships are designed to work together to create the life God intended for people to live.

This fictional, adult story will keep you wide awake, on edge, and revved up to read more from all the action taking place in this two-part novel. Marley Hutton's child-to-woman character carries the series of events exceptionally well as the story flows naturally between her adversities of Attention Deficit Disorder, rape, an abusive relationship, abortion, and suicide. We all face death, but how many of us are actually ready for it? Whether our own death or that of a loved one comes first, how prepared are we, spiritually or practically? In Preparing to Die, Andrew Holecek presents a wide array of resources to help the reader address this unfinished business. Part One shows how to prepare one's mind and how to help others, before, during, and after death. The author explains how spiritual preparation for death can completely transform our relationship to the end of life, dissolving our fear and helping us to feel open and receptive to letting go in the dying process. Daily meditation practices, the stages of dying and how to work with them, and after-death experiences are all detailed in ways that will be particularly helpful for those with an interest in Tibetan Buddhism and in Tibetan approaches to conscious dying. Part Two addresses the practical issues that surround death. Experts in grief, hospice, the funeral business, and the medical and legal issues of death contribute chapters to prepare the reader for every practical concern, including advance directives, green funerals, the signs of death, warnings about the funeral industry, the stages of grief, and practical care for the dying. Part Three contains heart-advice from twenty of the best-known Tibetan Buddhist masters now teaching in the West. These brief interviews provide words of solace and wisdom to guide the dying and their caregivers during this challenging time. Preparing to Die is for anyone interested in learning how to prepare for death from a Buddhist perspective, both spiritually and practically. It is also for those who want to learn how to help someone else who is dying, both during the time of illness and death as well as after death.

A book written to instruct and inform Christians about the Power that we have resident in us. Jesus tells the disciples in Luke: 10; l9, Behold, I give unto you Power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. This generation has failed to teach what the Bible tells us. Because we are worried about what the world has to say: (we want to be politically correct). And as a result this generation has very little knowledge of what the Word has to teach us. This book gives the reader the Biblical Facts about those who should be rulers over us and what The Word has to say about rulers, isnt what the politicians want you to believe. When those in charge over us are ungodly men then the laws that they make are to help them keep their positions, their agenda, and their authority. I believe that you will enjoy reading this book. And you will want all of your friends and associates to read it also.
