Students with disabilities are being underserved in the area of transition skill development and growth, leading to lower adult employment rates. There are transition programs in place to assist in resume building, job coaching, job seeking, and other skills necessary to being a productive member of the workforce. Due to a number of factors, including lack of knowledge of programs and their services, transition programs are not always accessed by those who qualify for program services. The purpose of this project was to increase the accessibility and knowledge of an already existing and successful transition program within the researcher's school district by designing informational brochures for families, educators, and site administrators. These brochures were not designed to provide detailed information, but rather to offer a basic understanding of this free service. The parent and student brochure was designed to entice families and students to consider transition services. The teacher brochure was designed to increase colleague participation in this district program, as they are the ones who work with the students and know who could benefit from participation.
