Excerpt from Bibliography of Hookworm Disease When in 1910 the newly organized Rockefeller Sanitary Commission began to assist the Southern States in measures for the control of hook worm infection, it soon became evident that a considerable amount of information on this disease was already available in the literature, which needed to be made more readily accessible. With the organization of the International Health Board in 1913 and the broadening of the program of hookworm control to include foreign countries this need became even more apparent. One of the first steps of the new Board, therefore, was to undertake the preparation of a bibliography which is now published in order to put it at the service of hygienists and all others who are interested.
