The Preface, therefore, to that issue follows this Preface, as it equally applies. It is gratifying to the Proprietor that the Code has proved itself so invaluable and complete that it has not been necessary to bring out any second Edition, although in future years a few words or phrases could advantageously be added. Holders object to new Editions on account of the confusion which arises and the expense entailed. With these objections the writer of this Code entirely concurs.
