An attempt has been made by the authors to explore certain fascinating scientific probabilities to explain Astrology. This journey explores Quantum Mechanical aspects of Quantum Entanglement and Quantum Gravity and the, General and Special Theory of Relativity of Einstein in relation to Space-Time distortion and the Time-Lag of planetary influence, String-Super-String-Brane-M Theories, Dark Energy and lensing effects of planets, as possible routes to understanding the influence of planets on the genetic materials of human beings. This book, further highlights the role of two other important factors –, namely, genetic make-up of the individual and the environment in which the individual grows –, in super-imposing the effect of planets at birth for making an accurate prediction. The unique placement of the moon in terms of its probable ‘lensing effect’ is highlighted. Astrological criteria to promote and sustain life on exo-planets, is also explained in a chapter. The final chapter deals with irrational practices and mis-concepts existing in astrological practices and the dire need to get rid of such practices to enhance the acceptability and credibility of Astrology.

Here in this book the Vimshottari Dasha has been mentioned elaborately in particular, which is used extensively. Besides, the Ashtottari and Yogini Dashas have also been narrated briefly. Vimshottari Dasha system is based on constellation. This system is used throughout India and recognized by all. It is based on the lordship of planet. The native can have result according to the house of which the planet is the lord. So, it is essential to know the Karakatva of the house and the merit of the lord of it. The book has been composed keeping in view the problems of the students of All India Federation of Astrologers' Societies on the inspiration of Mr. Arun Kumar Bansal. This book explains the method of prediction on the basis of Dasha in any easy to understand manner. A learned astrologer has to make study of the three different parts of a horoscope - 1. Yoga, the combination of planets and Lords, 2. Period-sub-period i.e. dasha, 3. Gochar that is, transit. All the three parts are the supplements of each other. Yoga is most important among all the three parts. Period-sub-period i.e. dasha may prove to be futile if there is no Yoga in a horoscope. For example, Period-sub-period that of Lord of fifth house or of Karaka planet cannot bless a native with a child if there is no Santan Yoga in his horoscope. Likewise, Gochar too cannot do anything if there is no Yoga in a horoscope. So, all the three parts are essential to have the result.

Jaiminisutras as presented in these pages deals with a system of astrology that has no parallel in the existing methods. The profundity and brevity of these sutras comprehend a vast amount of knowledge in the shortest forms possible. In the end, the author remarks that all that he has written is quite true, as these truths have been propounded by the still earlier Maharshis, Pitamaha or Brahma, Vyasa, Parasara, Vasistha, Garga, Bhrigu, Surya, Chandra, Brihaspati, Sukra, Marichi, Palaha, Pulisa, Maya and other eminent scientists. The treatment of the different Bhavas, Rasis and Planets will be found a little confusing in the beginning but with some patience, diligence and practice the peculiarities of his system readily yield themselves to our comprehension. He gives various Lagnas, Hora Lagna, Ghatika Lagna, Upapada Lagna, Varnada Lagna and so forth. His Dasas are mostly founded on Rasis and Navamsas. Brahma, Rudra and Mahesvara Dasas are peculiar in these sutras. It is asserted by some that Jaiminisutras extend over eight adhyayas. However here only two chapters, in four parts each, have been explained. The masterly way in which the Maharshi has explained the Astrological principles will surely make the students masters in this line.
