This is a compilation into one publication, of articles on heavy aggregate published between the years 1940 to 1950 inclusive. There is no assurance that all articles published during this period are included in this report. Articles dealing with lightweight aggregates are not included. No attempt has been made to limit the articles to any one phase of investigation. An examination of the table of contents gives the main headings under which the bibliography is arranged, and an idea of the scope of the report. In addition, a detailed index is included to enable the user to refer quickly to articles listed. The abstracts are numbered, and these numbers are used in the index to enable the user to find the article. The 'Author Index' also uses the abstract numbers to aid the user in locating articles if searched for by author. (Author).
