Rosa Caroline Rothfuss (1853-1919) was born at Erie, Michigan. She married George Fred Knapp (b. 1849) in Riga Township on Jan. 30, 1873 . George Fred Knapp was born in Monroe County, Michigan. Descendants live in Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Illinois, Washington and elsewhere.
