We call attention to the desirability of greater use of silos as stimulative in the growth of summer forage crops and as an aid toward a greater diversification of agriculture. No definite progress can be reported at this time on testing circles, though several have been used to a limited extent in a few of the States. The problems of reorganizing associations and the comparatively small number of dairymen reached through associations continue to be the weakest parts of testing work.
