Galatians 2:20- NKJV- I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; By our identification with Christ, we don't mean that we identify ourselves with Him (though in a sense we do), but that God identified us with Christ in his death, burial and resurrection. God saw us crucified when He saw Christ crucified; God saw us raised when Christ was raised. Identification then is first and foremost the was God sees things and not the way we do!

Believe it or not, as they stood at the foot of the cross, the original disciples who walked in close companionship with Jesus knew nothing of the real mission of the man they followed. They did not realize who Christ was, why He came, why He had to suffer, and what was to be gained by His suffering. They did not know what happened on the cross, or during the three days and nights in the tomb before His resurrection. They did not know why the incarnation was important, or that it even was an incarnation. All they could see was the undeserved suffering of their friend and rabbi. Now, legendary Bible teacher E. W. Kenyon reveals hidden truths there were not fully understood until the Pauline Revelation of the Epistles. Until God revealed these truths to the apostle Paul, no one understood why Christ came...why His death on the cross was necessary...or what exactly occurred in the tomb. They did not comprehend the good news: that because of these events, we now become the righteousness of God, people who can stand in God's presence without a sense of guilt, shame, or inferiority. This is the miracle of redemption and the miracle of New Creation. It is the confidence to overcome the devil, to heal disease, and to call Lazarus out of the tomb. To this day, far too many believers share the disciple's view of Jesus: a biographical account of the things He did, the words He spoke, and the suffering He endured. Because of this limited revelation, their Christian faith will experience the same fears and doubts the disciples were left with the day Jesus was crucified. Like the apostles at Pentecost, we must move beyond sense knowledge and into the Spirit realm. We must move beyond religion and into a living and active truth if we are to truly walk in a powerful and overcoming faith.

The Book of Revelation is the only book in the Bible that promises a blessing to those who "read and hear the words of this prophecy", yet our nineteenth century interpretation has caused it to be scarcely mentioned in pulpits today. When it is mentioned, it is only referred to as a list of horrors that must be avoided at all cost by sneaking out the back door of the "secret any moment rapture". I don't believe that this is the blessing that God had in mind. This book is an unfolding of the keys to understanding and meaning of the signs and symbols that make up the Revelation that God has led me into through the last four decades. Who would have thought that the answer to the signs and symbols in the book of Revelation are found in the Bible itself.Because of the progressive nature of truth, I believe that God is finally, in this day, unlocking the truth that has the power to change our vision and life forever. This book is by no means the final word on Revelation, but I pray that it will at least point us in the right direction, and be the catalyst for much more illumination of the plan and purpose of God for his people. I believe that any true seeker of the truth will hear the truth bell ring loud and clear as they read and hear the words of this book.

The International Conference on Insular Art (IIAC) is the leading forum for scholars of the visual and material culture of early medieval Ireland and Britain, including manuscript illumination, sculpture, metalwork, and textiles, and encompassing the work of Anglo-Saxon-, Celtic- and Norse-speaking artists. The present volume contains a selection of papers presented at the eighth IIAC, which took place in Glasgow 11-14 July 2017. The theme of IIAC8 - Peopling Insular Art: Practice, Performance, Perception - was intended to focus attention on those who commissioned, created, and engaged with Insular art objects, and how they conceptualised, fashioned, and experienced them (with ‘engagement’ covering not only contemporary audiences, but later medieval and modern ones too). The twenty-one articles gathered here reflect the diverse ways in which this theme has been interpreted. They demonstrate the intellectual vibrancy of Insular art studies, its international outlook, its interdiscplinarity, and its openness to innovative technologies and approaches, while at the same time demonstrating the strength and enduring value of established methodologies and research practices. The studies collected here focus not only on made objects, but on the creative processes and intellectual decisions which informed their making. This volume brings Insular makers – the illuminators, pattern-makers, rubricators, carvers, and casters – to the fore.
