In February 2006, Sir David Henshaw was asked to redesign the system of child support. In his report he proposed a simpler system that encouraged parents to take responsibility for their own arrangements whilst dealing more firmly and effectively with those who needed help in arranging child maintenance. This document is the first stage in the Government's response to the Henshaw Report. It sets out a number of questions around the broad principles of the proposed system, to invite comment. It will publish a White Paper in the autumn, with a plan to bring in legislation and see a new system in place by 2008.

Written with a dash of vinegar, A FRESH START tells nine wry, happy, bitter, funny, and ironic tales of fate and destiny, pipe dreams and fortune hunters, vanity and pleasures of the rich, curdled love and finaglers, skeptics and scoffers, fools and simpletons, all put together with satire and witticism and great big smiles in the face of adversity.

'Game-changing. Katy Milkman shows in this book that we can all be a super human' Angela Duckworth, bestselling author of Grit How to Change is a powerful, groundbreaking blueprint to help you - and anyone you manage, teach or coach - to achieve personal and professional goals, from the master of human nature and behaviour change and Choiceology podcast host Professor Katy Milkman. Award-winning Wharton Professor Katy Milkman has devoted her career to the study of behaviour change. An engineer by training, she approaches all challenges as problems to be solved and, with this mind-set, has drilled into the roadblocks that prevent us from achieving our goals and breaking unwanted behaviours. The key to lasting change, she argues, is not to set ever more audacious goals or to foster good habits but to get your strategy right. In How to Change Milkman identifies seven human impulses, or 'problems', that commonly sabotage our attempts to make positive personal and professional change. Then, crucially, instead of getting you to do battle with these impulses she shows you how to harness them and use these as driving forces to help instil new, positive behaviours - better, faster and more efficiently than you could imagine. Drawing her own original research, countless engaging case studies and practical tools throughout to help you put her ideas into action, Milkman reveals a proven, inspiring path that can take you - once and for all - from where you are today to where you want to be.

It would be recalcitrant and wayward for anyone to claim to be scholarly and well-read in today’s world if they lack familiarity with the tenets and principles of the bible. The divinely inspired book that was handed over to mankind is an eyewitness account of historical events of inconceivable and unimaginable nature which are beyond the realm of reason. “Fresh Start-off: The Great Themes of Scripture” is the first and one of a kind that has meticulously and minutely studied, sifted, and dissected the bible teachings and is a remarkable piece of writing that contains a message as its very core that is relevant to your everyday life and provides clear teachings of God, life, nature of humankind, our heart desires, fate and destiny, the value and worth of everyone and the goodness of the glory of God. All said and done, Jesus is the only religious leader who conquered death and rose from the dead. All the rest are dead and buried. Moses is dead, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are all dead. Buddha is dead, Mohammed died and will not come back again and even Muslims adulate and hold Jesus in awe as a truly Holy and an Extraordinary Prophet. This page-turner is not only for those walking newly in Christ, but is also for the battle-scarred Christians who want to gain new insights, arouse, evoke and even seek to reassess their knowledge of Jesus Christ after reading it.

This book is FREE for download. Brooklyn Prescott (at least that's what it says on her passport) was living the life of a boring, unnoticeable girl. She was almost invisible at the school in London that she'd been attending for the past two years since her family moved from the States for her father's job. Nearly friendless and definitely boyfriendless, Brooklyn is gearing up to start her junior year when her father drops a huge bomb: she's returning to the States on her own to attend an exclusive boarding school. Because high school isn't hard enough, she's about to become the new girl at The Rosewood Academy for Academic Excellence, a school for the kids of the rich and famous. Terrified of what that's going to mean for her social life (though really, it couldn't be much worse) Brooklyn knows she has no choice and prepares herself for whatever is to come. But the trip back to America--what promised to be a long and boring overseas flight--is anything but boring and instead turns into the kind of pivotal experience a girl will remember forever. For new readers, enjoy this introduction to The Rosewoods, an exciting romantic Young Adult series for readers who love fun, flirty love stories. And for loyal fans of the series, enjoy this peek at what happened before Taking the Reins.
